GECI to build and equipped a new Control Tower and Technical Block in GOMA, Democratic Republic of the Congo

GECI has recently completed the installation of two DVOR/DME sytems to replace the old CVOR/DME at Kasane and Maun Ariports in Botswana.
The scope of the project included the integration with existing remote control, a new container with air conditioning systems as well as electrical wiring to house the new DVOR/DME’s, power supply systems, spare parts and test equipment tools.
The project included a complete Factory training at GECI´s facilities giving the necessary skills and knowledge to CAAB´s engineers and technicians for a proper operation and maintenance of the equipment supplied.
