Colombia counts with a new DVOR/DME supplied by GECI at Mariquita Airport

The contract has been awarded to GECI through the World Bank. It comprises the construction of a new control tower with technical block at Goma International Airport (DRC), including the supply, installation, system integration and commissioning of the ATC equipment.
The scope of the main ATC systems comprises; VHF Radios, VCCS, Voice and Data Recorders, Master Clock, Crash Alarm, UPS, Consoles and Ancilliary Equipment.
A complete turnkey solution is being delivered as services comprising Project management, System designing, construction, training, factory acceptance test, shipping, installation, commissioning and site acceptance test.
The project execution is expected to last 18 months, being finished and unveiled by December 2020.
