GECI is developing a new airfield lighting system for Songwe International Airport for Tanzania Airports Authority

The project started in January 2019, having been executed in a timely manner with all ancillary civil works and equipment manufacturing and installation finished by November 2019.
The DVOR/DME system has recently been commissioned after 15 days onsite training for AEROCIVIL´s engineers (Colombia Civil Aviation Authority).
This project will improve the procedures for approaching aircraft landing at the air terminal.
