The new updated Master Clock GTQ-714 originates as an upgrade (hardware, firmware and control software) of the GTQ-712 time server. The upgraded version includes:

1. Power redundancy. The new version has two AC inputs (90-240 VAC, 50 / 60Hz) and one DC (24VDC) with a supervision of its status. The system can work correctly with only one of them.
2. Redundancy of GPS receiver. It has two GPS receivers. Principal-reserve with continuous supervision of both. The second receiver is optional upon request from the client. It also allows an automatic or manual mode for the change between one or the another in case of failure.
3. In addition of the two stability modes for autonomous functioning. The optional modules OCXO and atomic CSAC (Atomic Clock at Chip Scale) are incorporated, keeping the TXCO as a basic module, obeying the growing needs of future projects.
4.  Modular concept. Each functional module has been implemented in independent physical modules, allowing the requirements of each one.
5. Master Clock RCMS through Ethernet. This option has been added for the possibility of connection by a serial port.
